A Public-supported, non-Profit organization set up under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017. Rural Areas Water Association Pakistan was established in 2017. It has earned a resonating reputation within no time for its qualified leadership and performance oriented approach. The prime aim of RAWAP is social welfare through provision of the system of clean water to the rural areas. It is an organization which is committed to reduce the water woes of the rural areas and to make the lives easier for the inhabitants.
RAWAP Mission is to provide the latest information, education, and technical assistance to protect our public waters and improve the quality of life. We are a non-profit association governed by a board of directors. We are dedicated to training, supporting, and promoting the water and wastewater professionals that serve small communities. We are staffed with full-time personnel as well as volunteers to offer professional on-site technical assistance and training to water and wastewater system personnel in managerial, financial, and operation and maintenance of systems, as well as source water protection.
we are conducting awareness seminars and campaigns of the importance of water in different Public and private sector universities, colleges, schools, Masques, Parks and sports grounds etc. to draw the people attention towards water importance because many people in rural areas don’t know the importance of the water.
We are working on construction of Rainwater harvesting pounds, mini dams and Water storage tanks in rainfed areas to collect, convey and store rain from relatively surfaces such as a roof, land surface or rock catchments for home usع and small level agricultural purposes.
We Provide clean Water for drinking by installation of tube wells, Water Pumps, and filtration plants.
We working to provide clean water for drinking to the rural community. In this regards we are installing Water filtration plants, Tube wells, Hand pumps, solar pumps etc. in different parts of the rural areas of the country, to fulfil the drinking water requirement of the people.
